The dining room of Rin: one long table set for a large party under pendant lights

ホテルではなく、家を。

A house, not a hotel.

Three minutes on foot from Shin-Okubo Station. Up to 16 guests under one roof.
No front desk, no corridor of doors. The house is yours for the length of your stay.

Three minutes, then it stops.

Shin-Okubo is one of the loudest corners of Tokyo. Three minutes from the station, it stops. Rin means composure: holding still while everything around you moves. The house was rebuilt for one purpose, to hold a single group of up to 16 people in one place, with nobody else passing through.

期待の、少し先に。

Always a little more than you imagined.

A little better than you had pictured it.
Making that difference, every single time, is our work.

  • Keep what can be kept.
  • The house is a door, not a destination.
  • Work we can put the family name on.

Your stay

The way into Japan.

The house is a door, not a destination. Four things we can introduce once your booking is confirmed.

  • Private chef

A chef cooks dinner in the house, so the whole party eats together at one table instead of hunting for a restaurant that can seat everyone.

  • Tours and transfers

Airport transfers and day trips, introduced through operators we work with. You book with them; we make the introduction.

  • Things to take home

Knives, diatomaceous-earth bath mats, washlets. The things guests use here and then ask us where to buy.

  • Around the house

What is actually worth the walk in Shin-Okubo, written by the people who live on this street.
